Waiting sucks... (Ya, that blunt)

Goddamnit! I hate waiting!

James is supposed to get back into town today, and he sounded like he wanted to get together tonight, so I'm waiting very impatiently for him to get back. I have no idea when he'll be getting in, or call me to tell me is home. I hope it's soon. *figits*

So I was playing FFX this morning and have done most of the sidequests I want to. I still need to get some (but probably not all) of the ultimate weapons, which is actually not the highest goal on my list because they can be troublesome to get and I've got good strong characters so I won't NEED them. I know where one of them is but I don't have the thing to open the damn chest... rawr. My other main goal is to get the Magus Sisters Aeon. I need to go an collect a bunch of monsters but I'm not patient enough unless James is around to do that sort of thing :p. So I'm leaving that and the final battle for he and I to do together. ^-^ I love him so much!

Anyway, I'm taking a break from the game right now because I was starting to get frustrated and bored and annoyed. I'm watching TV instead, and waiting... and missing James alot. I think I wanna go for dinner with him, but I don't know when he'll be around and stuff. :S Hopefully I'll know soon.

Anyway, I'm gonna relax a bit, see you all later.

Lets all sing the Sidequest-ing song!

That's right ladies and gentlemen! I have hit that wonderful point in every Final Fantasy game where I am free to wander the world and level up as I see fit. Free to discover new summons, new weapons and new challanges as my heart desires. It is a lovely day indeed.

lol. Yes, I'm in a rather happy giddy mood over something so silly as sidequesting. Depressingly enough, I'm so giddy because I'm so sad. I miss James terribly, and I'm dieing for him to get back. To keep from moping around, I guess I'm over compinsating by being very happy over the stupidest things.

This of course results in song.

Many of you have hear my "Comfy Pants Chant" when I wear I comfortable favorite pants, or the "Yay Ice Cream Courus" when I decide that I simply must have ice cream, or perhaps the classic "Guess what I did last night? sing along".

I am a rather musical girl... with issues.

Very long interlude

I haven't posted in a while, I know. I got caught up in exams and studying and it kinda consumed me, but they're over. I don't know how I did on any of them yet, though I know I didn't do very well on my Arky. No matter how hard I studied, nothing would stick. So I went into that exam really unprepared, oh well. My Anthro exam went really well (I think) and I should be getting that mark back first. It'll be a while before I hear back on my Greek and Roman Mythology essay; it's a lot of essays for one guy to mark. The same is true of my Phil exam, it's a lot of mini essays to mark. My Arky had a couple short answer questions so I might hear back on that fairly soon, but it'll still be a bit of a wait.

All and all, exams weren't too bad.

So I'm back and work and have had my first shift at the TD store. It was boring as hell, damn Saturday afternoons. Oh well, at least I didn't have to work hard. :p I hope they give me more hours now, I could really use the cash, especially if I go down to Seattle with James later this summer.

Ya, me, trip, States. I know what you're thinking: "Shannon, you crazy little psycho you. You don't travel well, you get car sick a lot, you're cranky in the morning, you hate the United States (well o.k. more so the principals held by it's government leaders, but anyway) and you eat all weird! How are you gonna survive a trip to Seattle! To a mine no less, OUTSIDE, IN THE SUN!" Well, that's basically what I thought too. I do get car sick, but well, James can just deal (hopefully he won't have to, but ya know... I love you hunny!), and yes, I am cranky in the morning, but I can also go back to sleep in the car, unlike James who will be driving (I hope he won't go back to sleep anyway... I love you hunny!). As for hating the States, well, Seattle is on the West coast, and its pretty close to Canada, it's a pretty liberal place (that's what I'm telling myself anyway), and my eating shouldn't be too much of an issue either; James' family is very accomidating and they seem to like me... hopefully it'll all work out. And yes, I will be at a mine... with the outdoors and the allergies and the sunburns and the bugs... I haven't found much of a solution for this problem yet other than Benadryl, sunscreen and bugspray. Hopefully it'll be enough.

Spring semester starts soon, and that means I start my one class, Greek and Roman History. I've heard it's good, but a lot of reading. I shouldn't have too much of a problem though; one class and work should be fine.

I also start Drivers Ed this weekend (or is it next, I can't remember) which will be interesting to say the least. The actually driving part is what I need, the classroom stuff will jsut all be review. I really need to just work on parking. That's my major problem.

So that's sort of my life for the next bit... well kinda.

James is out of town right now, for 5 more days. :( I miss him terribly. But he needs to see his parents, I can understand that. It kinda works out because Mark went down with him and I can ask Mark what it's like down there to help make the final decision on my trip. Hopefully he'll cooperate. :p

I also started playing Final Fantasy 10. It's really good, lots of story and cut scenes and it looks great. I saw the most romantic part of the game today (no spoilers!) and cried SOOOO hard. It reminded me of James. Lol. I'm such a dork. And yes I cried in FF7 when the flower girl dies (trying not to be a spoiler bitch!) and yes I do have the words to "Eyes on Me", the love theme from FF8 memorized, I used to know the love theme from FF9 as well. :p

Anyway, I should be going to bed here, I have work tommorow at 12 downtown. Just for 3 hours, to cover the lunch rush, but none the less, gotta get up and go :p. I might poke around the mall a little too, maybe not, I haven't decided.

*sigh* I really should be going... but I have no motivation too... I'm not really all that tired, but I know if I don't go soon, I'll be up too late. At the very least I should go and lie down, and maybe read or something. Nothing highly stimulating and addictive... like my games... lol

Next on the to play list I think will be Xeno-Saga II. I know I have other games to finish first technically, but I think getting these major ones off the list now will help me get motivated to work on the other ones. Besdies, James will prolly play it with me! ^-^ I love playing games with him.

One of my newest happiest memories is when we got to curl up in my bed with a 13 inch TV on my desk, playing FF10, and eating candy with James. My sister and her friend were using the big screen and my parents had the TV upstairs, so we got to be all cuddled up in my bed, just hugging and beating the crap out of things. It would have been better with a bigger TV, or if the TV was closer, lol, it was a little hard to see. Maybe next time we'll balance it on something else closet to the bed.
